Looks like I’ve found another Metarealistic kindred soul; always a good day when that happens.

Read our interview to Laurie Lipton.

I love this woman.  Her answers are so sharp and poignant; much like her work, of course.  She is artist in the truest of senses.  We are see-ers, who merely try to communicate what we are seeing in a visual way to people who do not have the same abilities to see.  It is up to the viewer to do something about what they are seeing; we, the Artists, have done our part in the painstaking job of continuing an evolution of the species when we have taken what we see and translated it into a tactile form that others can, eventually, decipher and unlock the amazing knowledge the work has bestowed.
Generally inspiring works by generally inspiring people; so, naturally, I do not own many of the images posted. I will, of course, interrupt with a few of my own attempts at Art.
If my posting irritates that bit of capitalism ingrained in all of us just let me know and the image disappears, it's magic (or, preferably, I can just add copyright info to the image).
